On paper, Sanford, NC looks like many other small towns across the Carolinas. In person, it has a quirky energy and plenty of experiences that make visitors say “I didn’t realize it would be so much fun.” We needed a campaign that sparked curiosity about a place most people never even considered visiting.
Make a playful statement that sounds too good to be true, inviting the audience to call you out. The campaign theme “You’ll see” is the perfect tongue-in-cheek response. It’s like saying “come visit and prove us wrong.” The TV spots are character-driven narratives from arrogant but still charming people who found they were not the center of attention when in Sanford.
